The lodge has always been the heart of Pine Cone Lodge—a gathering place for family reunions, retreats, and group getaways on Big Sand Lake.
When it came time to rebuild, we didn’t want to replace it.
We wanted to carry it forward.
Built from the Past
Rather than starting over, we carefully salvaged materials from the original 1915 lodge—preserving the history of this beloved Park Rapids resort.
- Douglas fir flooring → now wainscoting on stairways and walls
- Interior log wood → repurposed into ceilings
- Original beams → now kitchen islands and window seat fronts
Every piece connects the past to today’s experience.
Crafted with Intention
Some elements couldn’t be saved—but they were rebuilt with purpose and care.
