What to Bring
Pine Cone Lodge provides most items for your stay, but not all. Below are some suggestions as to what to pack as you get ready to head to the lake.
- Bath, beach, and kitchen towels (including dish rags)
- Soap, shampoo, hand soap
- Paper towels
- Hair dryer
- Favorite pillows, if you like (one per person provided)
Summer, fall, early spring:
- Fishing rods, tackle, minnow buckets
- Charcoal (each home has a charcoal grill) (Hickory, Spruce and Oak have gas grills.)
- Life jackets ( we have a few sizes in the lodge rec closet. It’s an outside door located by the side between Lodge and Pines. )
Bed linens and dishwashing soap are provided. Toilet paper/trash bags are provided at least for the first part of your week.
There are lawn chairs available throughout the resort in the summer and fall but you might like to bring your favorite chair.
Fire pits are on the resort. Firewood is located between Pines and Loon Lake. Please be reasonable with the size of fire in the pit. $5/armful. Please leave $ with your payment.
PAYMENT METHODS
Cash, MC/VISA or Checks – Guests can leave multiple checks are accepted. There is a 4% fee for credit cards. Venmo add 2%
DEPOSIT – summer only
Summer deposit amount is $500.00 per week stay for Pines, Duplex, Oak, Juniper, Birch and Maple (you can split $200 due immediately with $300 due by Jan 1.)
$1000 per week for Spruces and Hickory/Willow. (you can split $500 due immediately with $500 due by Jan 1.)
Summer deposits are refunded if your entire reservation is filled (minus a $75.00 office fee). If home is not filled, there is no refund.
Daily Visitors
$20/person over 5 years old to stay 4 hours. Water toys on the beach and the lodge is for Pine Cone weekly guests. No more than 4 guests at a time. Extra guests can be invited 2 times during your stay.
Smoking Policy
We ask all to refrain from smoking inside the cabins, lodge and garages. Smoking is allowed outside away from open doors and windows.
Pet Policy – sorry no cats
Dogs are allowed. Fee is $175/dog/week OR $30/dog/day. Plus sales tax Vaccinations need to be up-to-date
- Pets must be on a leash at all times – under someone’s care at all times unless they are in a kennel
- Pets must not be left alone in cabins for more than short periods at a time
- Pets must be kept in a kennel when left alone
- Pets cannot be tied to trees or stakes
- Pets must be pick-up after
- You are responsible for any damage or extra cleaning caused by your pet
- Barking dogs will not be tolerated
No dogs allow in the The lodge.
You accept full responsibility for your dogs behavior when in contact with any guests at Pine Cone Lodge
If you bring a dog without telling Bonnie, the daily fee is $40/day plus tax.
Watercraft (boats, pontoons, jet skis)
Each home is allowed one watercraft. Hickory/Willow and Spruces are allowed two watercraft. Please contact Bonnie about extra watercraft. Each additional watercraft is $125/week if it is on Big Sand beach at anytime. There is a boat launch less than 1/4 mile from the resort. Pine Cone is not responsible for guest’s watercraft. There are electrical outlets located along the shoreline of Big Sand. We have rowboats on Loon Lake for your use. You can bring a motor or rent one from Watertoys. There are no outside boats allowed on Loon Lake. There is no public access on Loon Lake.
